About the Programme
Al Balāgh Takhaṣṣuṣ Fi’l-Tafsīr is a unique course, exclusively tailored for Sharīʿa scholars, ʿUlamā and advanced students of knowledge who wish to seek an opportunity to learn and acquire the essence of Qurānic Tafsīr in order to effectively spread the message of the Qurān in serving the Ummah and to ultimately save the Ummah from the challenges of contemporary socio-juridical, political and contextual issues prevalent amongst Muslim communities. This comprehensively engaging course will provide and upskill learners with tools and practical knowledge needed to bring about praiseworthy change and guide the Ummah for generations to come.

After answering a few short questions, we’ll be able to help you find out if you’re qualified to apply and give you more information about the Takhassus Fil Tafsir programme.
Applicants for direct admission to the Takhasus programme are required to:
- Have completed Alimiyyah Course from a recognized institute and Have Ijazah Sanad
- Applicants are expected to have good knowledge and understanding of Arabic and English language
- Applicant must be 18 years old or above
Applicants are required to submit an application for admission to Al Balagh Academy, with following supporting materials:
- Completed Application form
- Resume, including details of supervisory, teaching or professional experience
- Details of other academic qualifications including academic transcripts
- Two references
- A personal statement covering a brief introduction of yourself, why you are interested in the Takhassus programme, and your expectations of the program. You must include details of your Alimiyya and academic qualifications distinctly highlighting whether you have studied on a full time or part-time basis, a number of years spent and text/books covered.
For direct entry, submit an application and attach all supporting documents as outlined in the admission requirements. The admissions team will assess your application and advise of next steps.
Al Balagh will facilitate the degree programme for Takhasus students. The degree modules will be delivered by the recognised universities.
All prospective students will be assessed according to their credentials, which will identify whether they can apply for undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. Al Balagh Takhaṣṣuṣ programmes will provide some of the required qualifications/credentials related to Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), Experiential learning, Certified learning and Transfer where appropriate.
The degree programme is optional for students. It will be recommended based on students profile.
Please note Al Balagh Takhassus fee doesn’t include the Degree fee. Students are required to fill the admission requirements as required by relevant universities.
